As for the rest of the west, just this past weekend, a few of us were tearing up the fresh powder skiing Jackson Hole and even Grand Targhee. A perfect mix of lots of incredible snow, alternating with bright sunny bluebird days to make sure we got those perfect photo ops. As you can see by the current weather map, there’s a bunch of new snow on the way! Weather you plan to ski Big Sky to snowboard at Taos, you’ll see why March is the biggest snow months at the Rocky Mountain resorts, and we’re currently putting the finishing touches on a new round of special ski packages and exclusive offers to make this spring the perfect time for a super affordable winter ski vacation getaway!

Big Snow and Great Spring Skiing Deals
No doubt you’ve gotten caught up in some of the Olympic excitement surrounding the Gold Medal skiing and snowboarding performances over the past few days, but you also might have begun to think that the snow out west is less than fantastic. Not True! Sure, Vancouver is close to the Pacific Ocean and the low elevation of some of their resorts can subject them to short periods of warm weather, but remember that just a week ago, Whistler was enjoying the snowiest start to a ski season – Ever – with a January snow base of 32 Feet! – Yes, Feet. The cold weather moving in now will help to get them back on track for another amazing spring ski season extending well into April and usually into May.
