Revelation Bowl at Telluride Set to Make Its Debut

Telluride is known for some of the most exhilarating terrain in the Rocky Mountains and this season, with the introduction of Revelation Bowl, they plan on building on that reputation. The new area, just past Gold Hill, usually collects tons of snow in Tellurides growing expanse. Skiers will have access to extreme steeps or more gentle open areas with deep faces-hots guarrenteed! Last season saw the opening of Black Iron Bowl, Palmyra Peak and Gold Hill Chutes 6-10. This year's addition is sure to please.

Telluride plans to open later this month and the timing couldn't be better for the latest round of storms that have rolled through. Last week, they received 27 inches of snow and there is more snow forecast for this week. Can you hear the big boom of the Howitzer Cannon's? If you can, that is because there is already enough snow on the high terrain to do avalanche control work. With all this snow, the resort has released some great new specials.
